During my recent stay at Del Mar by Estia, I found myself immersed in a blend of value and comfort. Positioned in the heart of Stalis, this adults-only retreat offers a perfect mix of tranquility and accessibility to local charm. The owner, Stelianos, extends a genuine warmth, and his staff, particularly Elianna at the pool bar, create an inviting atmosphere. The accommodations are modern and well-kept, featuring spacious superior suites with air conditioning and a lovely terrace where we enjoyed local wines under the evening sky. The kitchenette equipped with essential cookware proved handy for reheating pastries from the nearby supermarket, which is just a stone's throw away. While the pool area is modest, it offers a refreshing escape, ideal for lazy afternoons. One of the hotel's significant advantages is its proximity to beautiful beaches and an array of restaurants, all within walking distance. Considering the amenities alongside the peaceful ambiance, Del Mar offers excellent value. Travelers who prioritize relaxation, paired with easy access to the vibrant local scene, would find this hotel a wise investment for their holiday in Crete. I'm looking forward to returning soon, with a deeper appreciation of its charms.
